What am I going to do before my surgery?

 In

We advise to stop taking the following for 1 to 2 weeks before the surgery as they can increase bleeding:

  •   Aspirin
  •   vitamin E
  •   fish oil
  •   anti- depressant drugs
  •   diet pills

Smoking should also be stopped 2 weeks before surgery because this is detrimental to healing. For breast surgery patients a mammogram test result is required before the surgery. A laboratory test is mandatory before the following major surgeries:

  •   tummy tuck
  •   breast augmentation
  •   breast reduction
  •   buttocks augmentation
  •   facelift

Review the consent and after care instructions. For faster healing, we recommends an excellent nutrition, adequate rest and takes vitamin c.
